REIPA/NPRRA Joint Conference Rescheduled
Conference to be held April 22-25, 2003 in New Orleans
DURHAM, N.C. — October 11, 2002 — The Real Estate Information Professionals Association (REIPA) announced that its joint conference with the National Public Records Research Association (NPRRA) scheduled to begin on October 2 has been rescheduled due to the dangerous weather conditions poised by Hurricane Lili. The conference will now be held from April 22-25, 2003 at the Hotel Inter-Continental in New Orleans.
"The tremendous strength of Lili and its projected landfall in New Orleans the first day of our conference drove this decision," said K Smith, President of REIPA. "With coastal wide power outages expected and the restrictions on travel, we felt it inappropriate to hold the conference as scheduled. We believe this new time frame will provide for a more conducive learning and networking environment and greater peace of mind for ourselves and our families. We look forward to seeing everyone in April."
