The National Public Records Research Association (NPRRA) and the Real Estate Information Professionals Association (REIPA) have chosen a new date for their first joint national conference after postponing the original conference in September due to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon.
Their boards have selected February 13-16, 2002 as the best dates available to reschedule the conference. The event will be held at the Westin Long Beach in California. Both Boards believe this time frame will provide for a more conducive learning and networking environment and greater peace of mind for attendees and their families.
They begin "charting a new course"; cognizant of the fact that speakers and
topics may necessarily change as they progress toward the new dates. All featured speakers have, to date, been able to attend in February. The conference will allow attendees to learn about the latest technology and industry trends as they relate to real estate information professionals, as well as broaden their scope of knowledge of public records research.
Additionally, the conference provides attendees with great opportunities for networking and social events in a kicked-back Southern California setting. Attendees will also hear from REIPA's new transaction standards group AARTT, who will be joining the conference and presenting the latest information on industry-wide data interchange.
